Carl Warner creates and photographs landscapes made of food, including this sweeping vista made entirely of charcuterie.  Ms. Tomato has come out of her long silence to champion this brave soul who clearly is the recipient of a trust fund.  His book, Carl Warner's Food Landscapes, is available on Amazon UK. The Brit is also developing a children's show that will use foodscapes as its medium.

He may, just perhaps, be the perfect man.

The musical act One Ring Zero is working on an album comprised of recipes set to music.  Aptly named The Recipe Project, the band's doings can be read about on the Village Voice blogsite, full article here.

Mona Lisa in Toast

Oh the Lady with the Beatific Smile....and made over in Toast.  I'nt she lovely and Who doesn't love Toast? 

The Mona Lisa on Toast by Tadhiko Okawa recreated Da Vinci's Mona Lisa ... from pieces of burnt toast. Okawa creates these edible works by etching the picture on aluminum foil, wrapping each piece of toast in a section of foil, cuting out the design, then toasting it in a horizontal toaster.
